The large food chute or Big Mouth® feed tube that saves you time by reducing the need for pre-cutting into small pieces. The large 10 cup bowl size is also nice when making soups and sauces. The 450 watt motor is very powerful so used properly this food process will last for years and be a great kitchen aid. The simplicity of the design is wonderful and makes the food processor easier and safer to use. The simple function guide is great as it shows you which blade to use and which button to press. The control panel is great for switching between modes based on the type of food you are processing at the moment. I also think the non-removable motor shaft built into the bowl is a great design that guarantees a user will not put something together incorrectly and damage the shaft. I like the secure fastening of the lid latches that hold the lid in place. I really like my new Hamilton Beach® Stack & Snapâ„¢ 10 Cup Food Processor. Use the shredding disc (shredding side facing UP) to shred cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and cheese. Use the slicing disc (slicing side facing UP) to slice cucumbers, apples, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes, pepperoni, peppers, radishes, firm cheeses. Also, use it to mince/puree vegetables and fruits, mix salad dressings, puree soups or sauces, and to grate cheese. Use the S-blade for chopping nuts, meat, garlic, onions, peppers, celery, herbs, bread (for crumbs), and crackers. Between the S-blade and the reversible slicing/shredding disc, you have many choices available. When using disc attachment, do not process foods past the MAX LEVEL indicator on the bowl. The label should face up for the desired function. Disc attachments are reversible and labeled, which takes the guesswork out of processing. Cord storage in the back keeps things tidy when not in use. It also includes a reversible slice/shred disc and S-blade for chopping, mixing and pureeing. This powerful food processor comes with a 10 cup bowl, which is the ideal size for most of your home cooking needs. A simple snap secures the lid on to the bowl, with no twisting and locking needed. The sealed bowl holds up to 10 cups of liquid, which reduces the need for multiple batches when processing soups or other liquids. Many food processors come with a maximum liquid fill line, so if you are preparing soup you need to process multiple batches. Are you still pre-cutting all your ingredients? If you're doing that, why bother with a food processor at all? The Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap 10 Cup Food Processor accommodates both large and small ingredients, so you can spend less time pre-cutting your ingredients and more time enjoying them. Chill, then shred or grate your favorite cheese for a variety of dishes. Slice cucumbers evenly for a perfect salad. No more guessing whether it’s put together correctly, just “stack” and “snap” the parts into place! Mix up a quick pancake batter. With the Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor, the bowl is specially designed to fit directly on the base (with no twisting required) and the lid snaps securely to the bowl with simple locking clips for safe operation. Maybe it will even earn a spot on the countertop.Gone are the days of complicated positioning and twisting the bowl and lid into place. And that is the point, after all: focusing on the food and not wrestling with the equipment. Complete with reversible slicing/shredding disc and the familiar S-blade, it is a prep cooking gadget meant for everyday use. Certainly, the versatility provided by the heart of the gadget is desirable for all home cooks this is a full-featured food processor. It is not likely that the convenience attributed to this no-twist feature will appeal to everyone, but to those for whom it does, it might make the difference between freezer food and a freshly cooked meal. The lid is then snapped shut with a hinging mechanism. Instead of positioning and twisting the work bowl onto the base, a simple stacking motion locks it into place. With a simple alteration to a commonly overlooked action, the company has given new life to a classic product. Taking this matter to heart, Hamilton Beach has released model number 70720, the Stack & Snap 10 Cup Food Processor ($59.99). The food processor is a tried-and-true addition to any kitchen arsenal, but that doesn't mean some don't find it unwieldy. Through no fault of its own, the kitchen tool gets shunned and ignored, doomed to live out an unproductive life tucked away in the back of the cupboard. Sure, the device in question may chop, slice, and dice with the best of them, but if for one reason or another it is uncomfortable to the user, then it will end up not being used. A kitchen appliance or gadget that does anything and everything is only useful if it actually gets used.
